Regional Nurse Manager

SUMMARY OF POSITION:
The Regional Nurse Manager is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the Primary Care Clinic. He/She coordinates clinical services at all Primary Care sites and coordinates regulatory medical requirements for the Adult Day Health Centers.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Coordinate and facilitate clinical practice. Best practices. Evidence based medicine. Monthly/Quarterly medical assessments for ADHC. RAIs/Admissions for ADHC.
- Oversee and monitor Infection Control. Flu protocols/H1N1. General IC practices.
- Employee Health for PCC and ADHC and COBRA. Generate and maintain employee health records. Ensure that all employee health requirements are met.
- Staff Education
- Coordinate Site Orientation
- QA Coordination of HIVQA requirements and manage reporting requirements
- Staff Scheduling maintain staffing schedules and calendar for RNs, MTs, UCs, Primary Care Coordinator, Medical Peer Volunteers, NPs, NPPs, MDs and PAs.
- Front Desk. Oversee Triage flow
- Oversee new PC scheduling software and EMR implementation
- Liaise between agency and labs
- Build Collaborative practice with ADHC
- Policy adherence

QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's Degree in Nursing from accredited university. Licensed and currently registered to practice in New York State.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
Three Years of HIV/AIDS related clinical and supervisory experience an ambulatory care or an acute long-term setting. Knowledge of Microsoft word and Basic computer skills, familiarity with electronic medical record desirable. Ability to read and communicate effectively in English.
