Registered Nurse – Primary Care Clinic

Bronx

SUMMARY OF POSITION:

The Registered Nurse Primary care clinics is responsible for the delivery of patient care through the nursing process of assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation and evaluation. Responsible for directing, coordinating all nursing care based on established clinical nursing practices. Collaborates with other professional disciplines to ensure effective and efficient patient care delivery and the achievement of desired patient outcomes.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

Bachelor’s Degree or Associates Degree in Nursing from an accredited nursing program; Current registration and active license as a New York State Registered Nurse; Experience as a nursing care practitioner; CPR certification or completion of certification during employment; Fluency in written and spoken English; Demonstrated understanding of the needs of clients in treatment for HIV/AIDS and substance abuse; Ability to see, hear and speak to clients; Bi-lingual English/Spanish preferred.
