HELP/PSI’s ADHC Programs are licensed Article 28 facilities in the Bronx, Brooklyn and Queens, that offer comprehensive services to adults living with HIV/AIDS to help them manage their medical situation and work toward achieving a balanced healthy life.
Adult Day Health care Services
- Substance Abuse Counseling & Groups, including 12 Steps Groups and Relapse Prevention
- Therapeutic Groups, including 12 Steps Groups and Relapse Prevention
- Social Work, Case Management, and Entitlement Services
- Mental Health counseling
- Monthly Medical Monitoring
- Structure Socialization and Therapeutic Recreation
- Holistic Therapy, Acupuncture, Reiki and Massage
- Two Daily Hot Meals, Food Pantry and Nutritional Counseling
- Gym and Personal Physical Fitness Training
- Life Skills Building Seminars; including topics on HIV/AIDS, STDs, Anger Management and Personal Finance Management
- Occupational Therapy/GED and Educational Services
- Creative Art Therapy
- Chaplain/Pastoral Services & Spiritual Awareness Groups
- MetroCard provided with every visit.
Criteria to Participate in HELP/PSI’s Adult Day Health Care program
- HIV+/diagnosed with AIDS
- 18 years or older
- In need of our services
